At the beginning of this week, Super Lawyers released it's 2020 Mountain States Magazine including its annual list of top attorneys. We are proud to announce that William Young was included in the list of Rising Stars for this region. This recognition places William Young among an elite group of attorneys - Super Lawyers includes only the top 2.5% of attorneys under the age of 40 (or who have been practicing for less than 10 years) in its annual Rising Stars list. In the Mountain States region (covering 5 states - Montana, Nevada, Idaho, Utah, and Wyoming), William Young was one of only 14 criminal defense attorneys selected to this list. "It is a tremendous honor. Not only does this provide me with a personal sense of accomplishment, it is validation for the entire firm that we providing excellent service to our clients" says William. However, he also wanted to make it clear that his goal is for the firm to continue providing better and better service: "It is concrete proof that we are headed in the right direction but we are not going to take our foot off the gas. We can do better. We can push harder. In the end, we want to be Idaho's premiere criminal defense firm."

Award Selection Process

Super Lawyer's award selection process is quite rigorous: "Super Lawyers selects attorneys using a patented multiphase selection process. Peer nominations and evaluations are combined with independent research. Each candidate is evaluated on 12 indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement. Selections are made on an annual, state-by-state basis. The objective is to create a credible, comprehensive and diverse listing of outstanding attorneys that can be used as a resource for attorneys and consumers searching for legal counsel."
