What is the Lawyer Referral Service?

The LRS is a public service of the Idaho State Bar. It was created to help you find the right attorney. All LRS attorneys are members in good standing with the Idaho State Bar with no pending public disciplinary complaints and carry professional liability insurance. LRS attorneys have agreed to provide referral clients with an initial half hour consultation at no fee.

The fee for a referral is $35 unless the cases are personal injury, medical malpractice or workers' compensation which receive a free referral. After the initial consultation, any further fees are to be negotiated between the lawyer and client.
