The defendant received a sentence of 2 years probation, alcohol education classes, and a interlock device was required to be installed on his car for the period of probation. This is a very good result, far better than normally seen across Idaho and the US - not only was the charge reduced (keeping a DUI off my clients record) but the sentence did not involve a drivers license suspension, fine, or any jail time.
